Tricon was appointed to advise on the food & beverage strategy, then provided detailed designs through to tender specifications. Construction was halted on the stadium at an early stage in favour of re-furbishing the existing national stadium. The Stadium would have been the first in the region to have a level of facility normally found in Europe. We brought our experience from large stadia such as Emirates, Wembley and Liverpool, adapting it to the requirements of the region. The stadium was planned to host major international events.
