With a total of six restaurants and bars, Tricon was initially engaged to develop the BOH F&B & Laundry logistics’ strategy and space planning for the Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk, located next to the WAFI Mall and comprising 595 keys. Once established, Tricon developed the F&B detailing for all the kitchens, bars and show kitchens as well as the laundry, housekeeping and in parallel developed the site wide waste management strategy.
The hotel features an eclectic F&B offering from the Brasserie Boulud, which is the all day dining for the hotel by Daniel Boulud and the speciality restaurant, Taiko, a contemporary Asian cuisine & bar adopted from the award-winning restaurant in Amsterdam, created by Executive Chef, Schilo van Coevorden to the Nine Gastropub. Guests also have the option to grab-and-go from Bijou, the patisserie or try Le Goûter, Sofitel’s signature French afternoon tea served in a sophisticated jewellery box and unlocked with a special key.
