St. Regis, The Palm Dubai
Tricon Foodservice Consultants have completed another impressive project in Dubai, this time at the 5-star St Regis, The Palm Dubai at the trunk of the iconic Palm Jumeirah.
Located in the Palm Tower, which also includes residential properties, the site is just one of the latest in the Nakheel hotel developments portfolio in the UAE. With 200 keys, as well as over 100 serviced apartments, the hotel occupies some 60 storeys and features a viewing deck, destination restaurant and record-breaking swimming pool on the top floors, all boasting superb views of the Dubai City and coastline.
Tricon was appointed to prepare the concepts and designs of the F&B elements, which included numerous restaurants, bars, lounges, and executive dining areas, aimed at making the hotel the area’s destination of choice.
Cordelia offers exquisite, handcrafted seafood menus paired with fine wines and creative mixology.
Her by Caroline Astor, a ladies-only haven, represents the grand dame, Mrs. Caroline Astor and her legendary afternoon tea ritual. Guests can indulge in luxurious pastries paired with exquisite afternoon tea, served in the most elegant setting.
The Dip Pool Bar is the perfect spot for laidback dining offering refreshing poolside beverages, bites, and a shisha selection.
Guests can enjoy small plates while sampling classic and modern cocktails in the intimate setting of The St. Regis Bar.
The hotel’s all-day dining features an attractive open kitchen and open layout, however the visually stunning wine cellar with bottles jutting out of the 360-degree walls, is the showpiece! The circular space, which is temperature controlled, ensuring each bottle is served at its optimum temperature, took some time to design but is the wow-factor in hotel’s the F&B offering.
The building is also home to the world’s highest 360-degree infinity pool! Set at a height of 200 meters, Aura Skypool covers a 750-square-meter pool deck on the 50th floor. Described as “an island in the sky”, the space features a lounge filled with VIP sun beds, as well as a bar serving cocktail and tapas dishes. A little higher up is The View at The Palm, a 240 metre-high outdoor terrace viewing deck and premium observatory lounge on level 52. Both offer showstopping, panoramic views of the Dubai skyline
The F&B elements at The View are operated by a stand-alone third party. Tricon were involved at the concept stage, then handed over the project for design.
Adjacent to the prestigious Nakheel shopping mall with 300 shops, restaurants, entertainment outlets, the hotel is one Monorail station away from Aquaventure Waterpark and an easy 3-minute drive to The Pointe, an iconic waterfront destination, with restaurants, shops, and the World’s Largest Fountain.
