Tricon’s appointment through Mirage Leisure and Development (Mirage) was to provide design expertise for restaurant and bar areas. The project architecture was developed by Michel Dawson of Dawson Associates following which Tricon’s Dubai office commenced development of the beach club restaurant and bar.
The iconic standalone bar location complemented by an innovative cocktail menu curated by award-winning mixologist Eric Ballard is overlooking Palm Jumeirah and one kilometer of pristine beachfront with lush landscaped surroundings. Drift restaurant showcases an innovative take on classic Provençal cuisine. An emphasis on the finest organic ingredients, freshness and simplicity delivers a culinary indulgence developed by Chef de Cuisine Maxime Le Van.
Tricon were tasked to deliver a standalone outlet to be operated independently and separate from the Kerzner One & Only, Royal Mirage resort 0perations. The restaurant was defined to have a feature fish display and the bar was to be a standalone feature.
The project had a tight schedule and Tricon’s appointment was to deliver a design solution through the traditional design route up to and including site installation supervision.
The resulting private Beach Club with a stunning infinity pool and views of Dubai’s iconic skyline has certainly delighted the most discerning guest and has become an Instagram success to the envy of many other Dubai destinations.
