As the world’s second largest research facility and with 1.3 million visitors per annum, the British Library has a multitude of catering requirements including those of the public, staff, conferencing and hospitality areas. The Library wanted a catering provider that could meet the demands of all the various users across the 3 UK sites. Tricon was appointed to assist the Client in assessing the catering need and appointing the most suitable operator. This led to an extensive, multi stage tender process that sought written and financial proposals. The evaluation of these responses supported by presentations and taste tests, enabled the client team to make a fully informed decision as to their preferred catering partner.
