The bank commissioned a brand new headquarters building located in Broadgate Circle, London designed by renowned signature building architect MAKE to accommodate their 5500 personnel. Tricon was appointed to prepare a comprehensive foodservice strategy to inform the design team of UBS’ requirements. The exercise involved consultations with stakeholders, analysis of existing internal operations and high street competition and consideration of what peer organisations are doing. The outcome was a considered series of options that were ultimately refined into a preferred strategy, prior to commencement of detailed design work.
Following completion of the agreed foodservice strategy Tricon were engaged as part of the design team comprising Aecom as project managers and TP Bennett as interior fit out architects, to deliver designs which set exemplar standards in corporate staff foodservice. The end product includes a 520 seat staff restaurant, coffee bar, sandwich deli, and three hospitality dining kitchens which support the 37 dining rooms, 43 meeting rooms and a 250 seat auditorium and multi-function space.
