The iconic St Regis brand have made their debut in Jordan with the brand-new, 5-star Amman hotel which
holds the largest pillarless ballroom in the city, The Astor Ballroom. Tricon was appointed to take the
foodservice & laundry design from strategy through concept, schematic, detailed, technical design and
construction supervision and hand-over. Now complete, the hotel offers an all-day dining restaurant Mercado
Andaluz with an open show kitchen as well as Tamara, a chic, ambient Middle Eastern restaurant with a
grand oven in the centre of the restaurant and a show kitchen, where traditional dishes are prepared for both
lunch and evening meals.
The St. Regis Tea Lounge offers herbal refreshments, coffee and light snacks for guests. Whereas the St.
Regis Bar transports you to New York City, inspired by the bustling bar at their sister location, where cognac
bottles are displayed across mirrored walls and an array of classic cocktails can be enjoyed. Tricon also
designed the hospitality to support staff dining, room service, meeting rooms and the pool bar, as well as a
roof top restaurant which, when finished, is expected to be a truly impressive venue, showcasing a meat
display wall, charcoal oven and a wine wall – not to mention views spanning across the city
