Investec Banks’ two office buildings are well placed on Gresham Street, named after the English merchant and financier Thomas Gresham and adviser to King Edward VI. They appointed Tricon to design the catering facilities at both No.30 and No.65 Gresham Street.
Tricon designed an impressive lower-ground foodservice area complete with a barista-run coffee bar and light lunch options, a grab & go for employees on-the-go, self-serve hot and cold food and a speciality Wok station. There’s also a breakfast counter with fresh bread, a toaster and a chef point where eggs and alike are prepared, multiple tea points, a micro-kitchen, and a bar and BBQ terrace on the 6th floor.
Over in No.65, Tricon designed a tea point for staff convenience. An interesting feature of the overall design was the inclusion of a reverse osmosis drinking water system. The system provided 100% pure water to all tea points and kitchens throughout the building reflecting Investec’s value for staff’s health and wellbeing.
