Bucharest:
Tricon were appointed to take this 5-star hotel from concept design to tender documentation as well as
designing their waste strategy. Situated in the heart of Bucharest the Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard
Bucharest is one of the oldest and most beautiful buildings in the Romanian capital which will be restored to its historic splendour. Tricon designed the BOH areas, mindful of the listed restrictions, for the 35-suite hotel.
The hotel will offer a 60-seat à la carte restaurant with a support kitchen and a 50-seat lounge café on the
ground floor, both of which are supported by stores on the basement level. The mezzanine offers a
sophisticated brasserie that turns into a lifestyle late-night venue post-dinner and there is also a 120-person
Ballroom for events.
Brussels:
Tricon were appointed to take this 5-star hotel from concept design to tender documentation as well as
designing their waste strategy. The new Corinthia hotel will restore the Grand Hotel Astoria, which has been
vacant for the past decade, to its former glory. This fabulous building offers two main fine-dining restaurants
supported by a ground floor main commissary kitchen which also supports the banqueting hall. The mezzanine floor hosts a pastry area for guests to enjoy sweet treats. Tricon worked alongside MA2 Architecture and Arcadis, who acted as MEP engineers for this project.
