Tricon breathe life into ghost Hotel
Back in 2006 the Madagascan Tourism & Leisure authority developed a 350 key five star hotel in conjunction with a Chinese design & build contractor. The hotel was fully completed, right down to supply of plates, knifes and forks, when due to economic and financial instability within the country the government chose not to open the hotel. It then stood dormant for 10 years.
Ten years later Tricon was engaged by Starwood Sheraton to carry out a full, fit for purpose, design review and equipment audit to identify what was required to make the hotel F&B fully operational and meet Sheraton F&B brand standard requirements. Following this we developed new kitchen designs to ensure the facilities met brand standards and were legally compliant.
