Design Museum Restaurant Parabola, ahead of the curve
Parabola, named after the iconic mid-century modern roof of the building housing the new look Design Museum is a bar café restaurant located within the museum, that is open to all, whether visiting the museum or not. Open from brunch through to dinner, seven days a week.
During the day Parabola will serve a regularly changing menu of seasonal dishes from the classic to the modern, under the stewardship of head-chef Graham Blower (Mark Hix, Angela Hartnett).
By night Parabola will pioneer a regularly changing ‘Guest Chef Series’; becoming home to some of the world’s most exciting and leading culinary talent, from internationally renowned chefs, to cookbook writers and regional stars.
A cocktail bar, overlooking Holland Park will be open all day, serving 10 classic cocktails alongside a regularly changing list of 10 – many inspired by the herbs and botanicals to be found in the neighbouring Kyoto Gardens.
On the ground-floor of the museum a coffee and juice counter will be open during museum hours serving a selection of sandwiches, salads and pastries.
