Foodservice Designer/Project Director

Responsible for managing allocated projects you will be a high attainer with a demonstrable track record of delivering large scale commercial restaurant and kitchen developments. Competent at managing the demanding expectations of clients and design teams you will thrive under pressure always looking to find new ways to raise standards and improve your designs. You already take great pride in what you do, but you are looking for an environment that encourages you to push harder and higher.

Able to build strong relationships with both clients and design teams you will be equally comfortable conversing in both food & beverage operations and building design language. Given a blank space you will have the ability to take a brief and develop innovative designs that optimise use of space, coupled with the confidence to present them in a compelling manner in client/project team environment.

An excellent communicator, with strong organisational skills you will be ably supported by the wider internal Tricon design team with regards to document and drawing production allowing you to focus on quality client delivery and creative design. You will have at least 8 years’ experience in a similar role but have desire and ambition to improve yourself by working on some of the most iconic and exciting food and beverage development projects in the world. You will already possess a strong knowledge of the commercial kitchen and bar equipment market but have an eager desire to learn more through your naturally inquisitive self.

The role requires the ability to prioritise and manage both your own time and that of your teams, constantly balancing quality against time – without compromising either – to meet your deliverable deadlines. This can be a challenging and pressured process but you thrive on pressure and believe it brings the best out in you.

This role will give you exposure to all sectors of the F&B hospitality industry but previous experience within the hotel and leisure and/or business and industry sectors will be of great advantage. Be prepared to travel as our projects are international particularly throughout the EMEA region.

Our company is a creative, leading edge specialist food and beverage, kitchen and laundry consultancy practice, providing strategic operational, management and detailed design support. We concentrate on delivering innovative food and beverage (F&B) solutions with a sound practical base, our clients coming from all sectors of the hospitality industry.

This role is based in our London/Essex office and although we operate flexible remote working you will be expected to be in the office on a regular basis.
